A dual programme
The classical curriculum and the religious sciences, according to the Qur'an and the Sunnah, brought together in one coherent path — without ever sacrificing one for the other.
At ALIF, a child never has to choose between succeeding at school and growing in their faith. We have built a timetable in which the core subjects — reading, writing, mathematics, science, languages — engage every day with religious and moral education. The two worlds reinforce one another: the rigour of classical learning nourishes the study of the Qur'an, and the values of faith give meaning to academic effort.
What this means in practice
The academic core
A demanding national curriculum: mastery of language, arithmetic and reasoning, assessed regularly.
Religious formation
Qur'an, religious sciences and good conduct, taught gently and methodically, adapted to each age.
Coherence at every moment
The same standards, the same kindness in both domains: the child experiences one unified education, not two schools in one.
To instruct the mind and uplift the heart: it is one and the same mission, carried together.
How this is lived at school
- Qur'an sessions built into the regular timetable, not pushed to after school.
- Teachers from both domains who consult one another around the same child.
- Progress tracked in religious sciences just as in classical subjects.
- Values taught, then lived out concretely in the playground and the classroom.
