The Montessori method
What makes the difference

In kindergarten, playful, sensory learning that respects the unique pace of each child.

The earliest years shape the love of learning. In our kindergarten classes, the child explores, handles and discovers for themselves, guided rather than directed. Sensory materials — shapes, colours, textures, gradations — develop the hand, the eye and the mind even before writing. The educator observes, encourages and steps in at the right moment, so that each child moves forward with confidence, independence and joy.

In depth

What this means in practice

01

Learning through the senses

Concrete materials to handle: the child understands by touching, comparing and doing.

02

Independence & confidence

Doing it alone, at one's own pace, to build self-esteem and the joy of succeeding.

03

An adult who observes

The educator follows each child closely and offers the right activity at the right time.

Help me to do it myself: that is how a child learns to learn.

  • Short, varied workshops designed for young children's attention.
  • An orderly, calming environment where everything has its place.
  • Play as the child's true work, respected and encouraged.
  • A gentle transition towards reading and writing in primary.
